A spell of mass destruction only few mages have ever mastered. When used, a wasteland is usually all thats left in the impact zone.

Deemed a forbidden spell by the Council of Magic, making it banned from all magic schools and institutions. However, those thirsty for knowledge or power will always find a way to get their hands on what they shouldn't.
